When should you start training your dog?

Dog training is common in humans, where annual exhibitions and competitions are held around the world.

The period of infancy in a dog is from birth until the age of three months, after which any puppy is considered an adult dog.

During this period, the puppies rely on the mother’s milk as food. After the end of the feeding period, the puppy must be taken care of.

The meat soup is served with bread, some vegetables added to the meat are cut into small pieces, it is necessary to provide water to them with clean and continuous containers.

Taking care for the pup during its first months is of great importance, it is advisable to check them from time to time and to check their bodies daily to ensure their safety, whether infectious diseases or insects and pathogens, preferably also attention to clean their eyes, and wipe, and get rid of any waste on a daily basis.

Puppies should be vaccinated with rabies vaccine, dementia vaccine and worm repellents before they reach the age of three months.

How can you train small dogs?

When young dogs are newly born, they must be carefully trained during their first months, before being allowed to walk freely around the house It is necessary to ensure that they abide by the rules and laws of the house first.

In the beginning, a suitable room must be found to keep the puppies inside when leaving the house.

The bathroom, kitchen or storeroom is considered suitable or any room can be closed to the puppies after leaving a sufficient amount of water, food and a waste container in the absence of the owner.

Potty Training for Dogs

The first lesson is to Teach Your Dog or Puppy to Never Pee or Poop Inside. Start with taking a tour outside the house after each meal and repeating this procedure for two weeks.

This proves in the dog’s mind that he has to spend his need outside the house after Every meal stings.

Train your dog to play nice

The second lesson is teaching how to play without damaging the furniture and possessions of the house.

The puppies when they reach the age of the month and the two months tend to bite things around. The best solution for this problem is by assigning a toy to the puppy that is biteable and not easily damaged.

Teach your dog basic commands

The third lesson is to teach them basic commands: to sit down when ordered, to come, to stay, to shake hands, and to lay down. Which is a little difficult at the beginning, as they should not be taught more than one thing. At the same time not to be distracted.

Make them small (just enough to taste)! Feeding him a treat for correct behavior is one of the easiest ways to effectively communicate to your dog that he did something right, (but we will use other methods too). Your dog should believe that you could produce a treat for him at any time and it just might be something really awesome!

I strongly suggest putting a treat container in the main rooms of the house so as not to miss any good opportunities for reinforcement and always carry treats on walks.

Fresh treats such as meat or cheese are useful when working outside in distractions.

DON’T GIVE IT AWAY FOR FREE: ask for a sit, stay, down, etc before giving him what he loves like feeding, walks and play.

ALL GOOD THINGS COME FROM YOU: By asking for good behavior before giving your dog the things he likes you can demonstrate your leadership without using force.

REMEMBER: your attention is a reward (sometimes even if you are yelling!). MYTH: Dogs should behave out of a selfless “desire to please” and respect, and not for treats.

This myth has killed a lot of dogs, and trainers who don’t use reward-based training are using punishment (choke chains) to motivate the dogs and not “respect”.

We have to deliberately demonstrate to the dog why he should listen to us (we have the food, the toys and the fun).

THINK about what you want your dog to do rather than what you don’t want him to do, then prevent him doing what you don’t want and reward him doing what you do want. Get it?

Teach him some words to help communicate what you want such as “leave it”, and “drop it”.

USE PUNISHMENTS VERY CAREFULLY (they can have yucky side-effects).

Never strike your dog. SHORT AND SWEET: Train in 5 minute sessions, 3 times (or more, go nuts!) per day.

Also be aware that you are always teaching your dog how to behave by your response to his behavior.

RUN your dog every day until her tongue is hanging out. Run twice if she’s still got too many “ants in the pants”. HELP HIM LIVE LONGER.

Feed your dog a premium human grade diet with fresh supplements. Avoid over vaccinating and excess flea and tick repellent chemicals.

Clean teeth and ears once a week, bathe and trim nails once per month.

ALL DOGS HAVE THE POTENTIAL TO BITE. That’s why it’s important to teach your dog to be comfortable in all situations and to be gentle with his mouth. MYTH: “Kids and dogs are great together”.

Actually kids are the most likely to be bitten because they accidentally do things that frighten dogs or they act like prey.

Never leave a dog and child unsupervised. Teach children not to approach a dog that is unknown to them, or when an adult is not present.

YOUR DOG IS ALWAYS LEARNING (and so you are always teaching/training)

You will need to refresh the cues that you teach your dog throughout her lifetime.

In general, training dogs is easier when they are small. Like any other creature, dogs are less adhering to their habits.

Dogs are small, and can be taught to live with humans (such as leaving their waste in a specific place) without much effort. A bit difficult.

In general, training any animal is not an easy matter, it must be trained on everything, without being confused with other orders or exercises, but these amazing creatures are ultimately able to become a close friend of man.
