No one can deny that, it’s a challenge to encourage your kids to follow a healthy diet and good habits. First, you have to be a role model for them and share healthy food together. Teach your kids to like healthy food.
They can love broccoli, spinach, and all fruits and vegetables, so let them try it, mix it, or eat it slices. You can add it to pizza, or soup, or noodles, so they get used to it, and it will be their favorite food.
I remember when I started to offer my daughter Yogurt, I started with plain Yogurt, not the flavored one, and now she eats both plain and flavored because she gets used to it. You have to try offering healthy fruits and vegetables to 10 times. offer it different ways!
For sweet potato as an example:
you can offer it mashed, fries, and chips till they like it. I prepare cupcake sweet potato with molten cheese inside!
You can’t offer the same thing the same way because they will keep refusing the food.
If your kid refuses milk, try to add his favorite fruit or try making pudding, also for egg you can add different vegetables to an omelet, or add it to cake and baked food.
Between the age of 1 to 4 you establish their healthy habits, and they should get used to eating healthy, drink milk, cut their nails, keep away from junk food, limit sugar dose, and don’t eat too many candies especially at night, because that will help your kids to lead a healthy life.
Kids need a portion to help their growth and build their body, they need carbohydrates and fats to give them energy, and need minerals and vitamins to protect their bodies from diseases, and healthy diet which contains all these nutrients in right amounts.
